Canine Grooming Services
We offer award-winning grooming for all breeds in a state-of-the-art salon environment. Ultimately, our goal is to make your pet priority one while in our care. By providing exceptional and efficient grooming, we can satisfy the needs of our clients, both owner and pet!
Our grooming services differ from the typical big box grooming departments due to the level of skill, training, and expertise our owner and staff possess. Most of our Pet Stylists have worked at Blue Ribbon for well over seven years and we have a combined 85 years of grooming experience. Additionally, we are proficient at AKC breed profile trims, Terrier hand stripping and scissor trims, which all offer alternatives to shaving a dog down.

Grooming Techniques
Working with curly-coated and long-coated breeds such as Bichon Frises, Cotons de Tulears, Havaneses, Lhasa Apsos, Malteses, Poodles, Shih Tzus, Silky Terriers and Yorkshire Terriers requires a thorough knowledge of proper coat preparation, drying, and scissor techniques. In fact, scissor trims are our specialty and the norm rather than the exception at Blue Ribbon Pet Salon.
Small dog clients can generally expect a grooming turn-around time of two to three hours depending on coat condition and desired haircut. By providing efficient grooming, we can minimize separation anxiety experienced by some pets and this ensures a great overall salon experience for our clients. Larger dog clients may require a bit more time for haircuts but their grooming appointments are staggered throughout the day so we can usually have them ready for pickup within three to four hours.

Quality Pet Grooming Products
We exclusively use premium bathing and conditioning products for show finish results. Before grooming your Pet, we evaluate their skin and coat requirements along with desired haircut to choose products accordingly. Knowing how and when to use these products comes from years of exhibiting in AKC show dogs. Today, we make sure to keep these skills up to date by attending annual industry trade shows and seminars.

Convenient Scheduling
Our canine grooming services can be tailored around your work and lunch schedules so our actual operating hours may vary depending on how appointments are booked. During peak Holiday seasons, we are often open seven days a week to accommodate appointment requests.
